What are the different types of mattresses?

• Coil spring mattress: Coil spring mattresses are made with metal coils to provide support. They're highly supportive, relieve pressure in your back and improve spinal alignment.

• Pocket spring mattress: Pocket spring mattresses are made with individual springs that work independently of one another.  They're comfortable and durable and are great for pain relief.

• Memory foam mattress: Memory foam mattresses consist of a layer of memory foam with springs or support foam. Moulding to the shape of your body, these mattresses are ideal for comfort and pressure relief.

How often should I change my mattress?

The general advice is to change your mattress every 6 to 8 years. However, this is just a guideline, and there are lots of circumstances where you should get a new mattress. For instance:
