The panelled headboard stands 120cm tall, and the whole base lifts up to reveal a full-size storage space underneath for spare bedding, cushions and out-of-season clothes. The mattress sits on a flat slatted base with 6cm gaps between the slats, giving it good support and letting it breathe.
