It's upholstered in a soft natural velvet made from 100% recycled, low-carbon fabric, created using recycled plastic bottles, so it's kinder to the planet as well as lovely to touch. The panelled headboard stands 120cm tall, and the whole base lifts up to reveal a full-size storage space underneath for spare bedding, cushions and out-of-season clothes. The mattress sits on a flat slatted base with 6cm gaps between the slats, giving it good support and letting it breathe.
